Charles Banji
DSTV merchant and owner
of Two Rivers Lodge
in Mazabuka
EFC has given me about 5 loans. My first loan was around ZMW 20,000, followed by ZMW 40, 000 and my last loan was ZMW 650,000 in November 2018. The loan allowed me to grow my DSTV merchant business from one to five shops and now I command the DSTV Agency business in Zambia. I run DSTV Levy Park, South Gate Mall, Kalomo and 2 shops in Livingstone. In 2014 my business Crystal Digital Satellite was voted best in Zambia in Sales thanks to the financing I got from EFC. My loans from EFC have also helped me expand my lodge in Mazabuka from 6 to 18 chalets. I also constructed a new restaurant and I am currently completing 12 new units. Thanks to EFC, my dream to own the biggest lodge between Lusaka and Livingston by 2020 is becoming a reality. The Lodge will have a Sports Complex, Filling Station, Camping Sites, Recreational Dams and Conference Facilities. We are currently growing up the village chickens black autoloops from Australia. We have 500 and we will be producing 20,000 chicks per month from June 2019. This will be the biggest village chicken project in the country. EFC has been a great partner in growing my business and the financial institution that I know will help me realize my future
Kandiata Raphael
Owner of Tandiza secondary
school based in Lilanda
compound Lusaka.
EFC helped me expand my business. In 2014, I got my first loan
from EFC which I used to buy and expand a house near my school.
After settling that loan, I got more loans for the expansion
of my business from a one-story building to a two-story building.
I am very happy that I was introduced to EFC by a friend who
encouraged me to get a loan which I have really benefited from.
In the past, I tried to get loans from other Financial
Institutions for the expansion of my Business but they were
unsuccessful. I urge EFC to continue helping small scale
businesses to expand. Words cannot express how grateful
I am for EFC. Thank you EFC.
Jude Miyamba Muleisha
Farmer
As a Farmer dealing in chicken and vegetables, I have acquired
three loans from EFC, through which I have built six one roomed
self-contained apartments which I wish to turn into a lodge in
Mpika. Through the loans, I have also built a chicken run in
Chilanga and two semidetached two bedroomed houses. I have also
built six two roomed flats in Lilanda.
I am very grateful to EFC for helping me take my businesses to
higher heights through their loans and because of these drastic
improvements in my businesses, I am able to provide for the
needs of my family and contribute positively to the growth of
our country’s economy.
