As one of the leading Micro Finance Institutions in Zambia, EFC boasts of a rich and strong 22-year history during which the business has successfully undergone major transformations and played a pivotal role in supporting entrepreneurial growth in Zambia.

We take pride in this rich heritage and in our mission “to partner with MSMEs and increase their access to specialized financial services while contributing to wealth creation, improvement of people’s living conditions and development of Zambia’s private sector”. Through our well-defined and focused strategic framework, our aim is to leverage this rich heritage to take EFC to the next level of success. We will invest in the welfare and development of our staff, who serve our clients to deliver sustainable returns for the Company’s shareholders. Underpinning our strategic framework is a set of core values which ensure we are committed to the highest standards of good corporate governance, ethical behavior and regulatory compliance.

In line with our Vision and Mission, EFC Zambia has grown to serve over 20,000 clients countrywide and created various products and services tailored to meet the financial needs of Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs.
