Eligibility

  • The borrower must be:
  • An individual entrepreneur or merchant, or other legal entity engaged in income-generating
  • activities
  • Someone who has been in business for at least 6 months
  • Able to demonstrate a proper recording system and the capability of operating a business profitably
  • In possession of assets or collaterals (e.g. business equipment, vehicle, house or land)
  • A Zambian citizen
  • Residing and operating in Zambia
  • Able to provide a guarantor
  • A holder of a regular savings account with EFC Zambia

Individual Business

  • Copy of client’s National Registration Card
  • Proof of residence (Utility bills or other refs
  • 2 Passport-size photos for borrower
  • Tax Clearance Certificate/TPIN

Enterprises

  • Articles of Association (M&A) Copy
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Business Registration- (Form 2)
  • Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Certificates/TPIN
  • 2 Passport Size Photos for Directors
  • Directors IDs
  • Copy of applicant’s IDs
  • Sketch map of business location
  • Proof of residence (Tenancy Agreement or utility bill)
